On Wednesday, January 16th, life as I knew it changed forever. A man called and informed me that my mother was hit by a car and she was in the hospital. She had, in fact, died at that moment but they didn't want to tell me directly over the phone. It has been exactly 7 days since that terrible moment when life stopped for me.
